Browns have been providing quality food in beautiful surroundings with fantastic service since 1973 and now have 27 venues nationwide.
Browns Manchester is set in the converted Athenaeum, which once one of Manchester's famous pubs and the building originally belonged to Parrs Bank. The building itself is a lovely example of Edwardian baroque architecture.
Their serve a traditional Afternoon Tea with finger sandwiches, fruit scone with strawberry jam and clotted cream, a delicious selection of mini cakes, and a choice of loose leaf teas. There is an option to add a glass of Champagne or Hendrick's gin and tonic, if you're in an especially indulgent mood.
Afternoon Tea is served 2.30pm to 5pm every day
