About
Browns have been providing quality food in beautiful surroundings with fantastic service since 1973 and now have 25 venues nationwide.
Oxford was the second Browns restaurant to open and is quite a landmark in the city. Before the building was converted into an English brasserie, it was a Morris garage. St Giles Church and beautiful 18th century terrace houses can be viewed from the window of the restaurant.
Browns serve a delicious Afternoon Tea including a selection of sandwiches and savouries, including a Brioche Roll with Lobster Tail in Sicilian lemon & dill mayonnaise and a Ploughman's sandwich with cheddar, sticky apple & sliced apple.
Indulge in the warm fruit scones with jams and clotted cream, and a range of mini cakes and puddings, from a Blackcurrant Victoria sandwich to a Lemon Meringue Tart. The Afternoon Tea is served with a choice of loose leaf teas and fruity herbal teas including Elderflower & Pear and Ginger, Tumeric & Lemon.
You can upgrade your Afternoon Tea and enjoy a Champagne Afternoon Tea for £35 or a Pink Champagne Afternoon Tea for £40 if you're in an especially indulgent mood.
Browns Brasserie & Bar proudly offer a vegetarian and a bespoke gluten free Afternoon Tea accredited by Coeliac UK so everyone can enjoy this delicious Afternoon Tea.
