Browns have been providing quality food in beautiful surroundings with fantastic service since 1973 and now have 27 venues nationwide.
Oxford was the second Browns restaurant to open and is quite a landmark in the city. Before the building was converted into an English brasserie, it was a Morris garage. St Giles Church and beautiful 18th century terrace houses can be viewed from the window of the restaurant.
Browns serve a traditional Afternoon Tea with finger sandwiches, fruit scone with strawberry jam and clotted cream, a delicious selection of mini cakes, and a choice of loose leaf teas. There is an option to add a glass of Champagne or Hendrick's gin and tonic, if you're in an especially indulgent mood.
Afternoon Tea is served 2.30pm to 5pm every day
