The Gothic style Woodlands Park, built in 1885, was a modern marvel and one of the first houses in the UK to have an electric light.

Set in beautifully landscaped grounds and gardens, the house became a centre for Edwardian Society in Surrey, with guests including the Prince of Wales with his famous friend, the actress Lillie Langtry.

Take Afternoon Tea in The Oak Room which includes delicate finger sandwiches, warm homemade scones with clotted cream, homemade preserves, delicious pastries and tea.
