The Gothic style Woodlands Park, built in 1885, was a modern marvel and one of the first houses in the UK to have an electric light.
Set in beautifully landscaped grounds and gardens, the house became a centre for Edwardian Society in Surrey, with guests including the Prince of Wales with his famous friend, the actress Lillie Langtry.
