About
Enjoy The Pump Room's sumptuous interpretation of the ritual that began in the 1800s, when the 7th Duchess of Bedford found a way to fill the ‘hungry’ gap between lunch and supper. Afternoon Tea is served daily featuring a selection of delicious savoury and sweet treats along with our homemade buttermilk scones.
Awarded with Café and Tea Room of the year in 2024, guests are sure to enjoy an indulgent Afternoon Tea at Searcys at The Pump Room. Join them at your preferred sitting, 12 - 1.30pm, 2 - 3.30pm or 4 - 5.30pm and delight in an hour of live music with their resident pianist or famous Pump Room Trio. Enjoy a traditional Pump Room Afternoon Tea with choice of tea or coffee and refills on request.
The Pump Room is situated adjacent to the famous Roman Baths, just a short walk away from Bath Spa train station.
