German Gymnasium is an ambitious new restaurant styled in the fashion of a traditional European brasserie and specialising in unique German cuisine.
Afternoon Tea is served in the beautiful Grand Cafe, which offers all day dining with heated terraces opening out onto the squares.
The Afternoon Menu features an inventive selection of traditional treats combined with original German food with the option to add a glass of the country's own sparkling wine.
This location was originally designed as the first purpose-built gym in England and is rich in heritage as it was the venue for the first National Olympic Games in 1866. This Grade II-listed building is conveniently situated in the heart of vibrant King's Cross. German Gymnasium serves Mittel-European inspired dishes all day long, across two floors and out on its vast heated terraces
Afternoon Tea is served Thursday to Friday, from 3pm - 5.30pm and Saturday to Sunday, from 4pm - 5.30pm
