Awarded World's Best Pastry Chef by the World's 50 Best Restaurant awards, Dominique Ansel's eponymous London bakery also serves a delightful Afternoon Tea.
Inspired by a fruit & vegetable garden, imagine savoury and sweet bites that celebrate the freshest produce and seasonal harvest. The menu begins with savoury bites and ends with a selection of sweets. Freshly baked, warm scones with clotted cream and homemade fresh strawberry jam will also be served, as well as optional additions from wine and champagne to a selection of premium dishes. Plus: just like a fresh fruit and veggie market, the full menu will be completely vegetarian too!
Other menu highlights include Peas in the Pod, English pea mousse, crushed peas, fresh mint, crème fraîche, pea and parmesan sablé "pod", Romanesco, truffled cabbage coleslaw, cauliflower purée, romanesco, choux , and Caramelia Honeybee, Valrhona caramelia, chocolate mousse, honey blackberry compote with tiny honeybees on top. Choose from the Signature Afternoon Tea, add a glass of bubbles with the Sparkling Tea, or opt for the Splendid, which adds a selection of premium savoury bites.
Afternoon Tea is served each Thursday-Sunday for 2 seatings at 2pm and 4:15pm in the bakery's beautiful covered garden terrace. Dominique Ansel Bakery is a 5-minute walk from Victoria Station.
