To mark Afternoon Tea Week (10–16 August), five-star West London hotel The Kensington is inviting guests to celebrate one of Britain's most cherished traditions with the chance to enjoy its newly launched Great British Afternoon Tea with the hotel’s compliments.
As part of the celebrations, every Afternoon Tea table throughout the week will automatically be considered for a daily surprise, with the hotel manager selecting one table at random at 4pm each day to receive their afternoon tea complimentary, applying to all bookings made for that day. Served in the hotel's beautiful Victorian drawing rooms, where afternoon tea has been enjoyed for more than a century, the experience celebrates the very best of British provenance.
Guests are welcomed with a choice of a Classic Pimm's Royale or Nyetimber English Sparkling Wine before enjoying traditional finger sandwiches made with produce from artisan suppliers including Chapel & Swan smoked salmon and St Ewe eggs, followed by warm homemade
