Nestled on the edge of Hampstead Heath and surrounded by landscaped gardens, Kenwood House is an oasis of calm just outside of central London. Why not indulge in an Afternoon Tea at The Brew House Cafe before a stroll on the Heath?

The Brew House Cafe is a rustic and spacious dining area located in the service wing of the historical Kenwood House. Afternoon Tea will be served in the 'Old Kitchen' , it is with regret that we cannot reserve any external tables.

*Please note - Afternoon Tea at Brew House Cafe at Kenwood House will not be available from 1st October 2018 until 1st February 2019*

Enjoy a range of classic tea time treats such as freshly made traditional sandwiches with a selection of home-made cakes and scones, followed by a pot of loose leaf tea or an artisan coffee with complimentary refills.

Kenwood House is a stately home dating back to the 17th Century and is home to a world-class art collection that is free to visitors. The nearest stations are the Hampstead Heath overground and the Hampstead or Archway Tube Stations.

Please note that the venue will be in touch directly to arrange pre payment to secure your booking once you have completed the reservation form.

On arrival please ask for the manager in the Brew House Cafe.

Accessibilty

By Car
Access to Kenwood is via The East Lodge Gate located opposite Compton Avenue on Hampstead Lane.
No vehicles can be left on site.
Parking is available on Hampstead Lane or nearby roads.
There are no parking restrictions.
It is important that all guests attending functions at Kenwood are reminded of the following:
- There is a pay & display car park further along Hampstead Lane in the direction of The Spaniards Inn, near the Bishops Avenue roundabout.
- This car park closes when the park is locked to the general public, usually at dusk.
- Any cars parked here cannot be removed once the park is locked.
In view of this fact, the venue strongly advise that when printing stationery for events at Kenwood this information is contained on your invitations to avoid embarrassment on the day.
This is an estate regulation that is beyond the control of English Heritage.
Their recommendation is that guests are told that parking is on Hampstead Lane near to the East Lodge entrance.

By train
Nearest rail station is Hampstead Heath, which is 1.5 miles away.
From Hampstead Heath rail station a taxi would be appropriate to reach the venue.

By tube
Nearest Tube stations are Archway, golders green, East Finchley, Hampstead & Highgate on the northern Line.
The bus service route 210 runs from Archway and golders green tube stations along Hampstead Lane and stops outside the East Lodge gate. There is no public transport from East Finchley, Highgate or Hampstead tubes to Kenwood.
Walking or a taxi would be appropriate to reach the venue.

Alternatively The East Lodge gate is a 30-40 minute walk from each tube station. Contact national Rail Enquiries on 08457 484950 for timetable information.
