About
Indulge in a delicious Afternoon Tea, including a Signature Sparkling Cocktail, in the quirky surroundings of the Courtroom Bar at London's boutique Dixon Hotel.
A Grade II-listed building with original Edwardian architecture, The Dixon is steeped in history but inspired by the contemporary character and culture of its vibrant neighbourhood.
Dating back to 1905, set inside the old Tower Bridge Magistrates Court, the Courtroom Bar is where criminals would have been sentenced for their crimes. In this second to none experience, immerse yourself in the history of the venue under the grand chandelier and the original structure of the judge's bench, alongside the mugshot pictures of ex-convicts framed on the walls.
Their 1905 Magistrates Afternoon Tea starts with a Signature Sparkling Cocktail and a selection of delicate handmade sandwiches on freshly baked bread, followed by warm and crumbly plain and fruit scones served with clotted cream and strawberry preserve. The final course is a delicious assortment of seasonal French pastries and fancies.
The Dixon Hotel is just a short walk from Tower Bridge and within easy reach of many of the city's main attractions.
Please note that afternoon Tea is served 1pm to 4:30pm on Saturday & Sunday only.
