What better way to celebrate The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee than with an exclusive Afternoon Tea event at The Rubens at The Palace. The Rubens at The Palace is the closest hotel to Buckingham Palace and the perfect place to enjoy the very British tradition. 

This once in a lifetime Platinum Jubilee Afternoon Tea event will feature a special performance from The Ruben's resident singer.

Start your Afternoon Tea with a glass of Champagne, whilst enjoying live entertainment throughout your visit. Then enjoy a special six-course Afternoon Tea, including a flowering tea served after the savoury course. Guests can also look forward to taking a small souvenir home.

The pastry kitchen at The Rubens is led by their talented pastry chef Sarah Houghting, who has crafted the The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Afternoon Tea menu, inspired by food the Queen is known to love.

Highlights from this special menu include Coronation Chicken Sausage Roll, Lobster & King’s Caviar on Brioche Roll, Gin & Dubonnet Frozen Ice and Ruben's signature cake, 'The Crown', made with a white chocolate & coconut mousse and orange chocolate brownie.

The teas are supplied by PMD Teas: P.M. DAVID SILVA & SONS was established in 1945 during the Plantation Raj in Ceylon's world-famous Dimbula Valley, and they have developed a reputation for serving the world's most sought-after teas that are hand plucked and ethically sourced. 

The Rubens at the Palace lies at the heart of London's biggest tourist attractions and is the closest hotel to Buckingham Palace, within easy walking distance of Victoria Station and some of London's best shops and restaurants.

Kindly note unfortunately the venue cannot cater for dietaries that require both gluten-free and dairy-free options for the same person.

The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Afternoon Tea Exclusive Event costs £120 per person in The Palace Lounge or £100 per person in The English Grill.
