Treat yourself to Afternoon Tea in the charming surroundings of The Column Room, housed inside the nineteenth-century Hestercombe House.
Hestercombe House sits within fifty acres of historic gardens, brimming with lakes, cascades, temples and tranquil woodland walks. Afternoon Tea is served in the elegant Column Room restaurant, a quintessentially English tearoom overlooking the Formal Gardens of the Victorian Terrace and Great Plat.
Traditionally served on a three-tiered cake stand, tuck into a delicious array of finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam and a seasonal selection of cakes and pastries. All of this is accompanied by a pot of loose-leaf of tea or a glass of English sparkling wine from Lyme Bay winery based in Devon.
Hestercombe House and Gardens is located just a few miles outside of Taunton town centre, within easy reach of Taunton railway station.
Afternoon Tea is served 12pm to 4:45pm Wednesday - Sunday
