Built in 1906 as the headquarters for North Eastern Railways, The Grand Hotel is York's first 5-star hotel. The Grand revives the splendour of the Golden Age of travel, having been carefully restored to retain all of the original features of this stunning historic building, with its sweeping staircases, mosaic-tiled corridors and tasteful decor.
Afternoon Tea at The Grand is served in the relaxing setting of The White Rose Lounge. The Afternoon Tea includes a wide selection of teas and treats to tantalise your taste buds. The Grand Afternoon Tea is a contemporary menu with sandwiches, homemade scones and preserves and a selection of delicious cakes.
Guests feeling in a decadent mood can upgrade to include a glass of Prosecco, Champagne or a Hendrick's Gin and Tonic teapot.
Afternoon Tea is served between 12pm and 3:45pm every day
