The George Hotel is a charming hotel steeped in history. Originally a 500-year-old coaching inn, The George offers the perfect base to enjoy a Festive Afternoon Tea after exploring England's oldest city, Colchester, and the surrounding tourist attractions.
The chefs have expertly handcrafted seasonal inspired fancies, delicate finger sandwiches, homemade buttery scones, and strawberry preserves to take you on a unique and personal gastronomical experience.
Award-winning British tea brand The Tea Makers of London provide a range of authentically made speciality teas with exceptional flavours. Their rich heritage of tea making and expertly curated teas are sourced from independent artisan tea farms as well as from some of the most renowned tea gardens around the world.
Children under 12 can enjoy their very own interactive 'Little Persons' Afternoon Tea menu and receive a cake pop stick to decorate.
