About
Enjoy an exquisite Afternoon Tea in the refined surroundings of the Connaught Room at Ashford Castle. Nestled in 350-acres of beautiful manicured gardens, verdant forests and woodland rich with birdlife, Ashford Castle overlooks the shores of rippling Lough Corrib in County Mayo, Ireland.
The long established tradition of Afternoon Tea has been wonderfully preserved at Ashford Castle since 1868 - you’ll notice the original silver tea set displayed in The Connaught Room, which was presented to Lord and Lady Ardilaun to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary in 1896.
The Afternoon Tea menu offers guests a wide selection of speciality teas, delicate finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones and delectable pastries. With spectacular views from the comfort of the castle’s elegant interior, take your time to savour every delicious moment.
Afternoon Tea is served 1:30pm, 2pm, 3:30pm and 4pm from Monday to Sunday.
