About
Celebrate Shakespeare's Season of love at Theatre Royal Drury Lane “I do love nothing in the world so well as you- is not that strange?” - Much Ado About Nothing
To celebrate The Bard's witty and spectacular tale of love playing at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, the venue are hosting a romance spectacular Afternoon Tea. Join them from the 8th February to 2nd March and toast to cupid.
Step into the world of Much Ado About Nothing and indulge in an Afternoon Tea as spirited as our heroine Beatrice herself. Gather with merry company in our enchanting Regency-inspired surroundings, where love and laughter are always on the menu. Delight in treats worthy of a Shakespearean sonnet—think decadent cakes, delicate savouries, and scones with clotted cream and jam (choose wisely, for wars have been fought over which comes first!).
What’s more, guests can delight as a bespoke poem is written about you and your table by one of our Taittinger Sonneteers.*
Raise a toast with a glass of fizz or sip on a brew finer than anything served up at a Shakespearean banquet. Whether you come for the tea, the treats, or the tantalizing gossip, one thing is certain: all’s well that ends deliciously.
Reserve your spot today for an affair as sweet as love itself.
*Taittinger Sonneteers are in venue from 1-5pm 8/9/14/15/28 of Feb and 1 March
Theatre Royal Drury Lane is located at the heart of Covent Garden, just a short walk from Soho, Leicester Square and the River Thames.
