The Berkeley London is a luxury hotel in Knightsbridge that has delighted guests with its welcoming atmosphere and sense of style for over a hundred years.
The Berkeley is perfectly located just minutes from the desirable Knightsbridge shops and Buckingham Palace. The Collins Room (formerly the Caramel Room) is an exciting, defining element of the newly-renovated Berkeley: a light-filled, contemporary and charming dining room that welcomes guests at flexible times for a light breakfast, lunch, Pret-a-Portea, dinner - and your choice of drinks in between.
Named as a tribute to the legendary designer David Collins, the space has now been stunningly reimagined by Collins's protege and creative director for 15 years Robert Angell, working with the British architects Rogers Stirk Harbour & Partners who masterminded the glass extension to the room.
Collins Room at The Berkeley London is the perfect place to enjoy the award-winning fashionista's Afternoon Tea, Pret-a-Portea.
The Berkeley London designer Afternoon Tea, Pret-a-Portea, is inspired by the themes and colours of the fashion world. The menu is transformed every six months to follow the changing seasons in fashion. This season is inspired by the iconic of Christian Dior in celebration of the launch of Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams at the V&A museum. All served on bespoke fine-bone china by Wedgwood.
Afternoon Tea is served 2pm to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday, 1:30pm to 5:00pm Friday to Sunday
