About
Afternoon Tea Awards 2025 - Award of Excellence
The Langham, London’s new Afternoon Tea celebrates the hotel’s unique heritage as the birthplace of Afternoon Tea during the Victorian era. The Langham, London was the first hotel to serve Afternoon Tea commercially in 1865 and we are very proud to serve our modern interpretation of it.
Everything from the design of the crockery, tea stands and menu curation takes inspiration from our Victorian roots.
Celebrate the flavours of British summer with The Strawberry Season Afternoon Tea at Palm Court, available from 22 June to 2 August. Featuring vine-ripened strawberries from Kent-based growers J Myatt and Co Ltd, this limited-edition afternoon tea celebrates one of the season’s most iconic fruits. Enjoy seasonal pastries, homemade strawberry ice cream and sorbet served from a bespoke strawberry cart, and a choice of summer-inspired aperitifs.
Set in the heart of the Capital, The Langham, London is just a 5-minute stroll from Oxford Circus Underground Station.
