About
Georgian Tea Rooms is a warm, inviting space in the heart of Macclesfield, with a nod to the 18th century.
Tables for tea are specially dressed with vintage linen, bone china crockery and silver plated cutlery. Afternoon Tea may be served in the main tearoom or on the mezzanine level, called the Gallery.
There are several Afternoon Teas from which to choose. The most popular is the Set Traditional, with a tempting array of crustless finger sandwiches – smoked salmon, homemade coronation chicken, homemade potted beef and egg mayonnaise on a mixture of brown and white bread.
Next are homemade sultana scones, served with luxury strawberry jam and clotted cream. On the top tier are homemade miniature cakes. Guests can choose from 18 leaf teas, with free refills. Afternoon Tea costs £25 per person (minimum two guests). Prosecco also available for £7 per glass.
