Celebrate the season in timeless style with our Festive Afternoon Tea at Colonnades. From 19th November to 31st of December 2025, their signature Afternoon Tea takes on a magical twist, with handcrafted sweet and savoury creations inspired by the warmth and sparkle of Christmas.
Festive Afternoon Tea is served Wednesday to Sunday, with the tearoom being closed on certain Saturdays due to weddings.
Located in the heart of Edinburgh's Old Town, Parliament Square, Colonnades at the Signet Library is an elegant, and welcoming venue, renowned for their Traditional Afternoon Teas.
The Colonnades have been restored exquisitely to their former grandeur. Tall fluted Corinthian columns line the salon surrounded by the gallery's ornate balustrades in neo-classical style. The finest bespoke silverware is set on the tables, some of which are original to the building.
