About
Originally opened in 1903, Mackintosh at the Willow is a culturally significant building that has undergone a 4-year restoration process to restore it to its former glory, providing suitably traditional surroundings to indulge in Afternoon Tea.
Afternoon Tea is served in the Tea Rooms, and it is the only surviving Tea Rooms designed by the famous Charles Rennie Mackintosh, who created it for local entrepreneur and patron Miss Kate Cranston.
Mackintosh at The Willow serves a seasonally changing Afternoon Tea menu, featuring in-house made delights such as macarons, chocolate delice and our renowned scones. Guests feeling in a decadent mood can upgrade to add prosecco, gin, whisky or Champagne.
Now operating under National Trust for Scotland and set in the heart of the vibrant city of Glasgow, Mackintosh at The Willow is just a short walk away from the sister location, the Tenement House and easily accessible via Queen Street station.
