A stunningly located 16th century coaching inn with a rich and varied history. The Riverview restaurant overlooks the banks of the river Tees, while the Farmhouse offers a more relaxed dining experience.

The Delicious Afternoon Teas are served daily from 12 noon, and is served in both our Riverview Restaurant or the Stunning Gardens.

Afternoon Tea includes traditional finger sandwiches, chefs’ selection of sweet or savoury pastries and tartlets, and freshly baked cheese scones with cream cheese and relish or sweet scones with clotted cream and jam.
