Walls adorned with floral decoration and lush green plants, make it the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely afternoon. And in the summer months, there is the option to dine on the restaurant terrace, which offers uninterrupted views across the lake.

Head Chef, Calvin Hill has created a Vegan Afternoon Tea menu inspired by the seasons. Featuring a selection of finger sandwiches, with a range of delicious fillings from Spiced Lentil Purée, Red Onion & Coriander to Hummus, Tomato & Cress. Scones are served with a Spice Plum Jam and are followed by an exquisite selection of delicate cakes and pastries. You can expect Mango Cheesecake, Blueberry & Lemon Cake, Chocolate Torte and Vegan Chocolate Fudge Cake.

As the perfect accompaniment you are invited to choose from a wide range of Newby speciality teas and infusions, including The Centurion Blend, Lapsang Souchong and Milk Oolong.

Afternoon Tea at Centurion Club is priced from £30 per person Tuesday to Friday from 12.30pm to 4pm and from £35 per person Saturday from 12pm to 4.30pm.Centurion Club is located just 35 minutes from Central London, close to the M1 Junction 8, west of St. Albans.
