Why not treat yourself to a Beaturix Potter 'Edible Garden' Afternoon Tea in the lavish surroundings of The Ickworth?
Sitting on the edge of Bury St. Edmunds, Ickworth House is a neoclassical country house boasting picturesque garden views. Formerly home to the Hervey family, the East Wing at The Ickworth has now been transformed into one of the most remarkable, family-friendly hotels the UK has ever seen.
The Ickworth prides itself on the excellence of its AA Two Rosette winning cuisine, and offers a delicious twist on traditional afternoon tea. Their Edible Garden Afternoon Tea menu comprises an assortment of traditional sandwiches and scones, followed by a selection of sweets inspired by the writer, including a mouth-watering Benjamin Bunny carrot cake and Mrs Tiggywinkle's rhubard and custard crunch.
