About
The Shelbourne Hotel has been at the centre of Dublin's social life for nearly two hundred years. Since opening in 1824, the hotel has played host to Presidents, royalty and Hollywood stars.
The Lord Mayor's Lounge is Ireland's most iconic drawing room, with views out across St. Stephen's Green, plush chairs, cut flowers and sparkling chandeliers.
The Classic Afternoon Tea menu features a selection of sandwiches including whiskey cured smoked salmon with Lakeshore mustard on wholemeal treacle bread. Buttermilk scones are served with strawberry preserve and clotted cream followed by a selection of cakes and pastries including chocolate fudge cake and pistachio macaroon.
Classic Afternoon Tea is served every day and costs 68 Euros per person or 88 Euros with a glass of Champagne.
