Nestled in the heart of King’s Cross, RAILS restaurant is located on the 1st floor of the grade II listed Great Northern Hotel.

Our signature Afternoon Tea celebrates our rich heritage as the original railway hotel and includes a delightful selection of sweet and savoury treats, scones with jam and clotted cream and a pot of your chosen brew.

RAILS summer menu brings together a culinary map inspired by the iconic railways of the UK, both in its design and its ingredients. The menu design cleverly reflects the geography of the United Kingdom, with each item referencing the region from which its key ingredient or inspiration is drawn. This thematic approach turns the Afternoon Tea into more than just an experience but becomes a tasting journey, celebrating regional delights from across the UK.

Afternoon Tea is served Thursday - Sunday from 1pm to 5pm.
