The Montague on the Gardens hotel seems to inhabit two worlds. In front, is the British Museum and the hurly-burly of tourist London. To the rear, there's a serene private garden, cut off from the city by a rectangle of fine Georgian townhouses. Between the two lies The Montague - an intriguing blend of up-to-the-minute city vibrancy and old-world Bloomsbury calm.
Their Traditional Afternoon Tea is a classic interpretation of the great British ritual featuring a range of finger sandwiches, scones and seasonal pastries made with only the finest of local produce.
