This afternoon tea pairs Indian flavours with British tradition for a spread that travels from the shores of India to the banks of the Thames. The menu comes from the winners of Bake Off: The Professionals 2024, served with a selection of teas and coffee in a warm, festive setting overlooking the water.
Meridian Lounge sits on the ground floor, directly opposite the hotel's reception, on the exact line of longitude 0° that gives Greenwich its name and once made it the centre of world trade. On Christmas Day, the lounge hosts its own sitting of Chai By The Shore, bringing the festive afternoon tea to the spot where East meets West.
