The tea at Masala Zone Piccadilly Circus offering is a unique Masala High Chai of a variety of deliciously authentic savoury bites and sweet treats, finger sandwiches with a taste of spice and delectable sweets- Indian and British.

This exciting Grand Brasserie is in London's most historic restaurant venue - the 1873 Criterion Restaurant building - opposite the iconic Eros Fountain, the heart of London. Afternoon tea will be served throughout the restaurant.

Guests will enjoy the stunning design of bronze arching screens, striking Indian artefacts and paintings, the bespoke Mughal-inspired floral carpet and the eye-catching layering of tabletops, timber, inlay and stone. The features complement the historic marble arched walls with inlays of semi-precious stones alongside the iconic gold mosaic ceiling.

The new menu is inspired by the sacred tradition of Afternoon Tea in most homes and traditional social clubs in India. The offering draws inspiration from several Indian regions, including a variety of deliciously authentic savoury bites. Traditional finger sandwich fillings are reimagined with punchy flavours. There are a delectable assortment of traditional Indian treats and scrumptious pastries.

This is accompanied with the restaurant’s signature masala chai a choice of teas and a chilled Thandai - a celebratory rich and energising milk drink flavoured with saffron, ground almond and cooling spices.

Afternoon Tea is served daily with sittings at 3pm and 5pm.
