About
The historic Grade 1 listed Theatre Royal Drury Lane has been restored to its former 1812 glory and reimagined as a new destination for entertainment, food, bars, art and culture, so the iconic interiors can be enjoyed by everyone, not just theatregoers.
Treat yourself to an unforgettable Afternoon Tea experience in The Grand Saloon, featuring dazzling chandeliers, ornate ceilings, beautiful furnishings and fine art.
The menu is a combination of sweet treats from renowned ‘Queen of Cakes’ artisan baker and cake designer Lily Vanilli, and savoury delights from our house chefs.
Taking inspiration from the theatre, as well as the popular Regency period, Afternoon Tea in the Grand Saloon is served on custom fine bone china featuring Mythical Characters designed by British interior designers Kit and Willow Kemp.
Savoury bites will include madeleines topped with whipped English feta and pickled heritage carrot, Coronation chicken pie with caramelised onion chutney and a bite sized crumpet with John Ross Jr smoked salmon and Earl Grey infused cream cheese. Warm scones will be brought to the table with cream and homemade jam while you sip on Rare Tea Company teas and Taittinger champagne.
Gluten Free, Vegan and Children's Afternoon Tea menus are also available.
Theatre Royal Drury Lane is located at the heart of Covent Garden, just a short walk from Soho, Leicester Square and the River Thames.
