About
The arrival of Spring sees the launch of Anya’s Wishing Tea at The Anya Cafe, a beautiful ode to the season of hope, renewal and rebirth.
The cafe is serving a menu steeped in tradition on beautiful bespoke stands – wooden art works which spin springtime yarns with characters who step straight from folk tradition and come to life at your table. Every detail is steeped in ancient wisdom. It’s a really beautiful experience with delicious cakes, including the new Green Man nettle cake, a meringue chick, raspberry caterpillar tart and a selection of scones, sandwiches, eccles cakes and pikelets.
Guests are also invited to become part of the Pont Street Wishing Tree - write a wish, hope or intention onto a ribbon and tie it to our village tree, a new symbol of abundance and life
Brought to you by designer Anya Hindmarch, indulge in a delicious springtime Afternoon Tea that takes a playful twist on a traditional British Afternoon Tea featuring exclusive seasonal cakes and fresh-cut edible flowers.
Designed by the London-based studio Brady Williams, Anya Cafe draws inspiration from the quintessential British cafés of the 1960s and some trademark humour, incorporating the whimsical elements characteristic of Anya Hindmarch's brand.
Served everyday between 11am - 5pm, the menu features traditional sandwiches including smoked salmon with lemon, dill and cream cheese and an array of decadent desserts including a lemon curd meringue chubby cloud, frosted berry caterpillar tarts and a chocolate and raspberry chubby heart.
