Afternoon Tea Awards 2019 - Highly Commended

Inspired by the grand traditions of the British social season, The Season Afternoon Tea features four exquisite cakes representing iconic events taking place throughout the summer; an Apricot and Lime Enclosure inspired by the elegant head wear seen at the Royal Ascot; a Strawberry and Pimm's Serve to highlight the Wimbledon spirit; a delicious Pecan Chocolate Keel taking inspiration from Cowes Sailing Week; and a Blueberry and Lemon Regatta, celebrating the elegance of Henley Royal Regatta and featuring the vibrant blue and white stripes inspired by the Henley blazers. 

Served with a selection of home-made scones and sandwiches with refreshing summer flavours, including devilled egg mayonnaise and mustard cress, honey roast gammon and an open prawn cocktail bun. As is tradition, our Afternoon Tea is paired perfectly with a collection of exotic teas, from floral Chamomile tea to our very own Sheraton Grand English Breakfast Tea.

Sheraton Grand London Park Lane is Mayfair's premium meeting place. A beautiful setting in the heart of Mayfair offering a glimpse into the magic and history of the roaring 20's. The elegant Palm Court has become the gathering place for guests and locals alike and is today one of the greatest places to enjoy Afternoon Tea in Mayfair.

Combining 1920s flair and traditional ingredients, enjoy an authentic taste of the era created by their talented pastry team and be transported back in time to the prosperity of late 1920s London. A live pianist in the Palm Court from Thursday - Sunday, 13.00pm – 19.00pm. 

The Palm Court Afternoon Tea features intrinsically designed pastries and delectable savoury treats inspired by the 1920s, with a contemporary twist. Each sweet on the menu has been finely crafted by the pastry team, and includes a pistachio and clementine opera cake and a cherry and vanilla choux.

The Palm Court at Sheraton Grand London Park Lane has been awarded with a Highly Commended certificate at the Afternoon Tea Awards 2019 in recognition of its quality Afternoon Tea service.
