About
Located at the former Holborn Town Hall in the heart of central London, Colonel Saab is a modern Indian restaurant, housed in the old public library, inspired by the travel tales of an Army officer with his wife across India.
With old-style Jazz music, museum worthy artworks and a modern twist on the flavours and textures of India, Colonel Saab is a contemporary viewpoint with an old soul, and a nostalgic palate of memories, aromas and flavours.
The Afternoon Tea menu includes a selection of finger dhokla sandwiches, with coriander & mint chutney, and onion bhajia sprinkled with pickle chaat masala.
Freshly baked raisins scones are served with clotted cream & strawberry jam, along with homemade coconut & Earl Grey cookies and macaroons flavoured with Saffron and Rose shrikhand.
Finally a selection of tea cakes is served with a choice of teas, including English Breakfast, Spiced Chai and Organic Darjeeling.
