About
The County Hotel is a historic Victorian hotel located in the centre of Carlisle, directly opposite the train station. With over 130 years of history, the hotel combines original character features with a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, making it a popular choice for both visitors and locals.
Afternoon Tea is served in the Portland Bar, a space that showcases the building’s heritage with original fireplaces, high ceilings, and traditional detailing. It offers a comfortable and informal setting where guests can sit back and enjoy the surroundings at their own pace.
Our Afternoon Tea includes a selection of freshly prepared sandwiches, homemade cakes, and sweet treats, along with warm scones served with jam and cream, and a choice of tea or coffee. Guests can also choose to upgrade their experience with a glass of Prosecco for an added touch.
