Lindeth Howe Hotel is a country house retreat in the heart of the Lake District, close to Bowness-on-Windermere, and is known for its connection to Beatrix Potter. It offers a relaxed setting to unwind and enjoy a traditional Afternoon Tea in serene surroundings.

Afternoon Tea can be enjoyed in the hotel’s lounges, with outdoor seating also available on the terrace and in the gardens when the weather allows. Outdoor tables are first come, first served, while larger groups are typically seated in the restaurant.

The Deluxe Afternoon Tea is prepared in-house and includes a selection of savouries, warm scones served with strawberry jam and clotted cream, and an assortment of cakes and sweet treats. Expect options such as bacon and cheese sausage roll, ham and piccalilli open sandwich, and lemon drizzle cake, with vegetarian and gluten free options available on request.
