About
Samlesbury Hall is a 700 year old half-timbered medieval stately home dating back to 1325 and is located between Preston and Blackburn in Lancashire.
Situated in the beautiful grounds of Samlesbury Hall The Garden Room Eatery is the perfect place to enjoy a delectable Afternoon Tea in Lancashire. Their Afternoon Tea menu features freshly prepared sandwiches, scrumptious savouries, homemade puddings and of course a freshly baked scone with jam and clotted cream.
Ingredients are sourced locally from the Ribble Valley and wider Lancashire region, with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten‑free options available.
A King's High Tea in Maria's Tea Room is also available, featuring an array of delicious treats, including locally made fruit cake enjoyed by King Charles III himself when he visited the Hall in February ’26.
