Afternoon Tea is served in their Afternoon Tea Lounge, which provides diners with a stylish and sophisticated environment to enjoy their meal. The lounge is furnished with designer fabrics, atmospheric lighting and an array of locally commissioned art in a room that embraces the historic nature of the hotel while maintaining a contemporary feel.

Playful contrasts of tangy pickles, punchy mustard and piquant sauerkraut cut through rich sandwich fillings, whilst dark fruits, gentle spice and a medley of textures bring our sweet selection to life, from the delicate Plum & Treacle Macaron to the warming Apple & Pear Crumble Tart. Every element is designed to capture the comfort of an English autumn. Available until the start of November 2026.

If you are feeling extra indulgent you can add a glass of Champagne. A children's Afternoon Tea menu is also available, priced at £16.50 per child. 

Guests can enjoy savoury High Tea which features a range of creative savouries including a mini Yorkshire pudding with braised beef short rib; Katsu chicken scotched egg; sun blushed tomato arancini with basil pesto and a pork & blue cheese sausage roll. To follow is a cheese selection accompanied with crackers, grapes & chutney.
