About
Cally Palace, on the outskirts of the pretty village of Gatehouse of Fleet on the Solway coast, is set in over 150 acres of grounds. Originally an 18th century country mansion just outside Gatehouse of Fleet, it is now a wonderful hotel in south west Scotland.
Entering through the oak doors, the grandeur of the interior is immediately apparent as you step back to a time of period style and elegance while enjoying all the modern comforts of a four star hotel.
Afternoon Tea is served in the Bow Lounge which has a magnificent gilt cuppola ceiling and views across the gardens. It is also served in the Louis Lounge with an open fire and stunning views of the gardens, making the Afternoon Tea experience comfortable yet luxurious.
Enjoy a selection of freshly made finger sandwiches, home made sausage rolls, and smoked salmon oatcakes with sweet delights such as the chocolate & orange tart and raspberry & white chocolate mousse which of course, are served alongside the scones with clotted cream & jam. Or why not indulge further with a glass of prosecco?
Cally Palace is located just outside the village of Gatehouse of Fleet in south west Scotland and the nearest station is Dumfries.
