Celebrate the magic of Christmas with a Festive Afternoon Tea at the Drawing Room at Coworth Park. Available Monday - Friday from 21st November - 30th December 2025.

Luxurious, elegant and comfortable, The Drawing Room offers the perfect setting to celebrate this festive cosy season whilst admiring the stunning views of the Berkshire countryside.

Coworth Park’s weekday Yuletide Afternoon Tea opens with a warm Old Winchester cheese scone with clementine marmalade, followed by seasonal sandwiches such as roast turkey with sage & onion mayonnaise on onion bread and roast butternut squash with rocket on beetroot bread.

Freshly baked scones arrive with strawberry jam, spiced plum compote and clotted cream, before a pastry quartet - cherry & almond religieuse, Jamaican gingerbread with yuzu marmalade and custard, signature chocolate mousse with clementine jam and a blackcurrant cheesecake tart - plus a slice of Coworth Park fruit cake finished with caramelised white chocolate.

Traditional Afternoon is priced at £75 per person, or enjoy a Sparkling Afternoon Tea for £90 per person, with a glass of Rathfinny Classic Cuvée or Wild Idol Rosé.

Children’s Yuletide Afternoon Tea features playful savouries and festive bakes: fairy bread and mini sandwiches of roast turkey with sage & onion mayonnaise, St Andrews cheddar with chives, plus jam pennies. Freshly baked scones follow with strawberry jam, spiced plum compote and clotted cream, then a trio of pastries - cherry & almond religieuse, chocolate mousse with clementine jam and a chocolate Rudolph, served with iced tea or hot chocolate. £35 per child (up to age 11).

Renowned for its perfect interpretation of the classic Afternoon Tea, Coworth Park was awarded a Highly Commended Certificate of Excellence at the 2019 Afternoon Tea Awards, and an Award of Excellence at the Afternoon Tea Awards 2024.
