The Winchester Royal Hotel is set in what was originally a private house turned Bishop's residence, just before being converted into a hotel for which it has served over 150 years.

Afternoon Tea is served in either the lounge, restaurant, or garden depending on the weather. They serve a traditional style Afternoon Tea comprising of freshly made sandwiches, scones, and delightful sweet treats. Sandwiches include classics such as Cucumber and Mint, Egg and Cress, and Roast Beef with Horseradish.
