About
The Talbot is a hidden gem in the picturesque village of Ripley, Surrey. The hotel is one of the country's most storied and historic coaching inns and boasts many original features from throughout its 500-year history.
The Talbot is located just an hour away from Central London, and was once a frequent stop for Lord Nelson, where his love affair with Lady Hamilton is said to have blossomed. In the modern day, the hotel restaurant now offers the Lady Hamilton Afternoon Tea. This is beautifully presented, consisting of a selection of assorted finger sandwiches, homemade fresh scones with clotted cream, and individual cakes accompanied with tea or coffee.
Afternoon Tea is served daily in the hotel restaurant overlooking the South facing terrace. Guests can also choose to upgrade with a glass of bubbles alongside their Afternoon Tea for an indulgent experience.
The Talbot is in Ripley, Surrey and is a short distance from West Byfleet or Woking station.
