About
Wotton House is nestled in 13 acres of beautiful listed gardens in the Surrey Hills, 3 miles outside of Dorking. Surrounded by woodland, Wotton House is a perfect setting for Afternoon Tea.
Wotton House serve their "Lady Evelyn's Afternoon Tea". The menu is inspired by the life of Lady Mary Evelyn who was married to Sir John Evelyn where they lived together at Wotton. Sir John Evelyn often travelled to Paris leaving Lady Evelyn alone at Wotton House. One of her favourite past times was having tea parties in the secret garden, imagining that her wildlife friends were her guests, wearing their finest top hats and cravats.
Served in the 1877 Courtyard Suite, the menu includes freshly made finger sandwiches, traditional homemade scones, a delicious selection of sweet treats and a pot of tea.
