Bake Off The Professionals chef Adam Cleal has launched Niche Patisserie at the Black Gate in Oswestry, where customers can sample “The Niche Luxury Afternoon Tea Experience".

The Black Gate on Salop Road is a beautiful building and the team at Niche Patisserie are breathing new life into this historic and well-known landmark.

Pastry chef, Adam became a familiar face on our TV screens in 2019 as a semi-finalist on Bake Off The Professionals and now customers can sample his delicacies, such as his signatures “The Incredible Croissant’ and “ The Niche Luxury Afternoon Tea Experience” in the market town of Oswestry.

Adam is part of a new and exciting family-owned business that has grown over the last two years, achieving high results of excellence, service and patisserie skills to the local and far areas of Shropshire.

Niche provides the quality of food and service that is usually found in a five-star hotel. The hand sculptured “works of art” from the Afternoon Tea range are showcased in one of the oldest and beautiful historical Grade 2 listed buildings of the market town of Oswestry, circa 1621.

One side of the building has a bakery, where the produce is available to buy, as well as tea and coffee. The other side is a luxurious lounge to enjoy the Niche Afternoon Tea experience and an opportunity to see Adam create his beautiful works of art from the bakery studio.

Please note that a deposit of £10 per person is required to secure your booking. A member of the team will be in touch once they have received your booking to arrange this. The full balance is required to be paid 48 hours in advance of dining.

Niche Patisserie can cater to Vegetarian and Pescatarian Afternoon Tea, but unfortunately are unable to offer any other dietary options.
