In celebration of the 160th anniversary of Beatrix Potter, Grosvenor House draws inspiration from her timeless tales with the Tales of Beatrix Potter™ Afternoon Tea, created in partnership with Frederick Warne & Co. Ltd, part of Penguin Random House Children’s UK. Inspired by the English countryside settings, Executive Chef Patrick O’Sullivan presents a selection of five artfully crafted pastries and an amuse bouche using seasonal British ingredients. From mischievous adventures to much-loved characters, every creation is thoughtfully designed to evoke a sense of nostalgia and delight - inviting guests to step into the charming world of Beatrix Potter.
Offering the ultimate in British elegance, the Park Room brings a distinguished Afternoon Tea experience to the 5-star Grosvenor House. With a contemporary design and resident pianist, the Park Room offers a tranquil setting to relax away from busy London life.
Their Afternoon Tea is inspired by the quintessentially British pastime which dates back to the early nineteenth century when Anna, the Duchess of Bedford is said to have complained of "having that sinking feeling" during the late afternoon.
With beautiful views overlooking the Royal Hyde Park, Park Room offers a seasonal twist on a traditional Afternoon Tea experience with delicate pastries hand crafted by the pastry team. A selection of Newby teas compliment the new Afternoon Tea alongside the option to add a glass of Champagne.
Since opening its doors in 1929, this serene retreat has been frequented by royalty, celebrities and business leaders.
Marble Arch Tube Station is a 6-minute walk away.
