The Rubens at The Palace are excited to release a brand new addition to their menu – a Sweet Serve Cake & Champagne Experience to celebrate Wimbledon.

In a celebration of tennis and culinary artistry, Champagne Lanson, have again partnered with Red Carnation’s Paula Stakelum, better known as Paula Pastry, for a two-week pop-up event taking place throughout The Championships, Wimbledon. This returning ‘Sweet Serve’ pop-up will be hosted at the iconic Leopard Room at The Rubens at The Palace, from 30th June – 13th July 2025 showcasing Paula’s original dessert paired perfectly with Lanson’s Le Rosé Création

New for 2025, Paula has created a perfect tribute tothe iconic grass courts of The All England Lawn Tennis
Club, with the limited-edition ‘Tennis Court’ Pistachio Cake – a delicate layered pistachio cake, enhanced with
zesty lemon curd and velvety pistachio cream. Elegantly finished with a natural pistachio-hued cocoa butter
spray, crowned with a bespoke ‘PaulaPastry X Lanson’ plaque, this exclusive pastry will be served with a glass
of Champagne Lanson Le Rosé Création 67. Le Rosé Création is a truly versatile cuvée with subtle floral and fruity notes of strawberry, redcurrant and pomelo, which pair beautifully against the nutty citrus cake. Made from a 2019 base harvest of grapes from 27 Grand and Premier Crus villages including; Bouzy, Les Riceys and Valée de la Marne, Le Rosé Création 67, refers to the 67th time a non-vintage rosé has been made at the Maison.

The Rubens at the Palace lies at the heart of London's biggest tourist attractions and is the closest hotel to Buckingham Palace, within easy walking distance of Victoria Station and some of London's best shops and restaurants.
