Enjoy a selection of delicious treats in historic surroundings in this building that dates back to 1872. Afternoon Tea is served in their Afternoon Tea Lounge, which provides diners with a stylish and sophisticated environment to enjoy their meal. The lounge is furnished with designer fabrics, atmospheric lighting and an array of locally commissioned art in a room that embraces the historic nature of the hotel while maintaining a contemporary feel.

Traditional Afternoon Tea at The King Street Townhouse is made up of quintessential hallmarks of the British tradition such as finger sandwiches, scones and homemade pastries & cakes. If you are feeling extra indulgent you can add a glass of Champagne. A children's Afternoon Tea menu is also available, priced at £16.50 per child. 

Guests can enjoy savoury High Tea which features a range of creative savouries including a mini Yorkshire pudding with braised beef short rib; Katsu chicken scotched egg; sun blushed tomato arancini with basil pesto and a pork & blue cheese sausage roll. To follow is a cheese selection accompanied with crackers, grapes & chutney.
